Anthony Baer has been in software development for 20 years.  His career has spanned development, quality assurance, release management, and DevOps.  He has worked in health care, financial services, and insurance.  Security is near and dear to his heart. His current role as a Solutions Architect at Sonatype enables companies to include security as part of their workflow to avoid data breaches.  At Spinnaker Summit 2019, he presented on how to detect and avoid vulnerabilities in Open Source Software, which makes up 80 - 90% of applications being developed today.  He was involved with Google to assist in remediating vulnerabilities in the Spinnaker project in 2019.
